England & WalesExpert witness services provided nationally

We are experienced in the preparation of Part 35 Valuation Reports under the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), whether the appointment is by a single party or as a Single Joint Expert on behalf of both parties.

Our role is to provide clear, independent and carefully reasoned valuation evidence to assist the court, tribunal or other adjudicator.

We have represented clients in the High Court and County Court, as well as providing expert advice as a precursor to legal proceedings.

Scope of instructions

Varied valuation
experience.

Expert witness instructions can involve historic evidence, complex loss calculations and disputed property values. Each report is approached independently and on its own facts.

01

Historic portfolio valuations

Retrospective valuation evidence for individual properties and wider property portfolios.

02

Diminution in value

Assessing changes in property value arising from non-disclosure and related circumstances.

03

Personal injury claims

Providing appropriate valuation ranges and property evidence in support of personal injury matters.

04

Commercial rental values

Independent assessment of commercial rental values for disputed or prospective proceedings.

Appointments

Supporting every
route to instruction.

Instructions are accepted from solicitors, individual parties and jointly appointed parties, subject to an initial review of the matter and any potential conflicts.

01

Single-party appointment

Independent expert evidence following instruction by one party to the dispute.

02

Single Joint Expert

Appointment on behalf of both parties to provide one independent expert opinion.

03

Litigants in person

Initial consultation for individuals managing their own case before formal instructions are accepted.

Before formal instruction

Start with a focused consultation.

Whilst instructions for Expert Witness reports often come from solicitors, we also welcome enquiries from litigants in person. A consultation can help clarify the valuation issue, the information likely to be required and whether a formal expert instruction is appropriate.
